Peak Design Black Friday Deals & New Products
One of my favorite camera accessory brands are having great deals on their entire site and even launched a few new products. I will list some of my favorite items I’ve owned that you should pick up during the holiday season.
Tripods
A staple during their release, the Travel Tripod lead the game for many years and now the OG tripods are on a nice discount with the Aluminum Tripod hitting $319.96 and the Carbon Fiber for $539.96. While I’d jump on the aluminum tripod, if you’re willing to spend the extra cash I’d skip the Carbon Fiber and go for one of their newly released Pro Tripods which are also on sale!
The Pro Tripod models offer a lot of features for those shooting videos with a ball head mount, carbon fiber and pan and tilt base the Pro Lite comes in at $759.05.
Mobile Accessories
The Everyday Case is a phenomenal feeling case and have been improved for the newer iPhone 17 models but are also available for many Android devices as well. If you’re looking for a rugged case their GNAR case is a great choice and comes in a sick two tone Black and Orange.
The Mobile Wallet is one of those products I own multiple colors of. Whether it’s the Slim Wallet or Stand Wallet either is a great choice for holding multiple cards and snaps perfectly on to the back of the Everyday Cases but also magnetize well on third party cases.
Lastly, the Mobile Tripod is so good! Super slim and stores easily as a magnetized accessory on the back of your phone it can add a bit of grip and is stable for any size phone. Coming with a hex key to tighten the ball mount, this stand will last a long time and it’s a perfect fit to any carry bag.
NEW PRODUCTS
Crazy enough, Peak Design used this time to announce some new products and best believe I’ve ordered them. For those wanting to use the Slim Wallet but don’t want to use MagSafe, the new Everyday Slim Wallet takes what worked on the original made it for that Everyday Carry fan. Want something more traditional? Then the Everyday Billfold Wallet may be an option for you. I haven’t used a standard wallet in years but I have faith in this one, so I’ll throw it in for those interested.
The final new product announced also on a discount is the Passport Wallet which can hold up to 2 Wallets and a few cards. Perfect for that minimal traveler or that family man to hold multiple passports. All 3 new products fit the aesthetic Peak Design has created and I won’t be surprised if these sell very well.
Camera Gear
Their bread and butter items in camera gear are all on sale but I’ll pinpoint the few I’ve used and recommend. The Outdoor Sling is part of their Outdoor lineup of gear with a weather resistant material and snazzy design these are available in three sizes 2L, 4L and 7L. The 4L and 7L can also fit their smaller camera cubes to be used with smaller setups but are fantastic slings with a lot of space and removable straps.
The Everyday Backpack has been featured everywhere and it’s a darn good backpack. While not having been updated in a few years, this bag still holds up for those city shooters and commuters with their gear.
Capture Clip is the one of the nicest looking camera clips out on the market and with the edition of some new colors, you can style them with any backpack. Capture works with any camera and securely locks in place on your backpack strap.
There are a ton of Camera Straps available and honestly, they all work. Depending on the size of your camera you can choose from a slimmer strap to a thicker strap for larger cameras and even their newly released Leather, Rope and Wrist Straps. You truly can’t go wrong with any of these just make sure to choose correctly.
So there you have it, some of my favorite items from Peak Design that I recommend to pick up but of course you can choose whatever you like and I promise you it’ll work well.
